八年级(3)(4)班从整体而言,学生成绩两级分化严重,这也是初二学生的特点。的学生英语基础好,善学习会思考,成绩出色;而还有部分同学英语基础,个别同学甚至连26个字母都背不全,学习还懒散,对英语课兴趣不大,主要表现在:

(1)在听、说、读、写等的技能未达标,连音标和单词的拼读都有待提高;

(2)上课时精力不,对英语有的抵触心理;

(3)学生自觉性。

(4)学生在情感,学习策略还诸多需要解决的问题。例如:学生学习英语的目的不明确,学习习惯有待进一步养成,课前预习课后复习有待加强。

三、教材分析

本册书共有十个教学单元,每个单元都列出了明确的语言目标,主要的功能项目与语法结构,需要掌握的基本词汇,并分为sectiona和sectionb、reading三部分。sectiona部分是基本的语言内容,sectionb部分是知识的扩展和综合的语言运用。每个单元还附有self check部分,学生可用来自我检测本单元所学的语言知识。在本书主要安排了一般将来时,过去进行时,句子的成分,情态动词,现在完成时及宾语从句等语法内容,增加了复习单元文化背景知识和学习策略等部分,并增加了任务型学习成份和语篇输入。

四、工作措施:

1)充分运用多媒体课件等,学生进行自主学习,提高他们学习英语的兴趣。采取集体备课等形式,对教材认真研究,让学生充分思考、讨论,注重学生综合能力的培养。

3、采用循环式编排方法,较好地体现了“由浅入深、由易到难、循序渐进,逐步扩展、点面结合、不断复现”的原则。

4、在安排词语和语法项目时采用了“早渗透”和“重积累”的方法。所谓“早渗透”,是指某些词语和某个语法项目在进行正式教学之前,先在前面课文中少量出现,使学生对之有所接触和了解,以便正式学习时比较容易领会和掌握。所谓“重积累”,是指把已学过的词语或语法与内容结合起来,以旧带新,温故知新,逐步扩展,不断积累。

3、根据《英语课程标准》中语言技能三、四级的目标要求,对学生进行适当的听、说、读、写专项训练,并开展适当的综合性语言实践活动,逐步培养学生的综合语言运用能力。

5、在教学过程中不可盲目地加快教学进度。教学一定要切合实际,做到重兴趣、重方法、求稳定、求实效,避免出现大批掉队和过早分化现象。对英语学习水平不同的学生,做好“提优补”。

6、积极参加集体备课,保证集体备课的质量。集体备课不仅仅是要学进度和教案格式,更主要的是要备教学内容和教学方法,通过集体备课研究每单元的教学策略,特别注重对不同课型教学的研究。

2 利用阵地,灵活运用。

对于小学生的口语交际,很多时候学生由于受到认知水平、表象积累、生活实际和范围等因素的影响,学生们常常感到有心无力。运用“英语小天地”,给学生提供丰富而形象的资料,使学生在有意和无意中“Pick Up”一些自己认为有用的知识,再让学生在生活中多注意,多运用,多积累,这样,就丰富了口语交际的内容。

案例2在学习了Season 一课后,同学们就拿着与季节有关的图画,课外阅读材料,到英语角进行交流。学生们都情绪高涨,提出了许多有质量的问答,如:What’s this ? It’s a tree. What colour is it? It’s yellow. What are these? They are lees. What season is it? It’s autumn. 在此基础上,再共同讨论:What can you see in autumn? 在这个活动环节中,学生的思维象脱了缰的野马,许多课外所学的单词也会脱口而出,大家经过质疑解疑,互帮互学,真正体现了有效互动性。

“兴趣是的老师”,只有让学生的思想迸出火花,让学生表达出自己的想法,说自己想说的,做自己想做的,才能丰富学生的想象力,提高学生的交际能力。

我们知道,要进行交际,必须要有大量的语言材料作为基础才能成功。为此,学生必须吸收大量的语言材料,因此,教师必须扩大学生积累语言材料的来源,通过各种渠道增加学生的语言输入量,从而获得充足的语言信息。

(1)教学用语。英语课堂教学是获得英语知识的主要场所。教师丰富、简洁、规范的教学用语不仅为学生提供了一定的日常交际用语,也使教师的教与学生的学形成一种互动的交际活动。如:

(1)用多种活动方式,吸引学生注意。

小学生活泼好动,爱表现自己,喜欢接受新鲜有趣的事物。对此,我们可以设计新颖多样的活动,吸引学生积极参与,可以采用pair work、 group work进行开火车、角色表演、课本剧表演、唱歌、画画、着色、游戏(找朋友、猜一猜、贴一贴等)和竞赛等活动,活化教材内容。如利用贴一贴的游戏学习人物的五官。首先让学生自画hair、eye 、nose 、mouth、ear等,然后在黑板上画一个没有五官的头,教他们读hair、eye 、nose 、mouth、ear,让他们边读边把这些五官贴到黑板上,再把这些五官取下来,让他们蒙住眼睛贴一贴,在一次次的捧腹大笑中,学生迅速熟练地掌握了这几个单词。
